Praise The Ward is an annual community festival that showcases music, art, food, workshops, tours, family activities and more. The event makes use of venues throughout the Ward – all easily walkable or bikeable. We're entirely volunteer-driven by keen Wardians who invite everyone to this compelling day of local music, art, food, activities and much more!
Praise the Ward 2026 is celebrating at various locations around the Ward neighbourhood on Saturday, September 19th, from late morning to night.
The Ward is a unique and historic part of Guelph, ON, bordered by Elizabeth Street, Victoria Street and the Eramosa River. With industrial roots, it has become a vibrant and creative centre for artists and innovators, new families and businesses.
We’re entirely volunteer-driven and rely on ticket sales, donations and grants to pay the artists, print flyers and programs, rent equipment, etc. Purchase your ticket early to show your support!
Our partnership with the Two Rivers Neighbourhood Group enables us to issue automatic tax receipts for your charitable donations.

Some of them are! We'll release more information when we have finalized our program.
Yes! We may even have an event dedicated to dogs - stay tuned.
Outdoor locations are dog-friendly, too, but keep in mind that there’s music and lots of people, and not every dog may be comfortable in this environment. All dogs must be kept on leash, with a maximum 6' lead. Please ensure proper petiquette is maintained throughout the festival spaces.
Pets cannot enter any indoor locations unless they’re service dogs.
